Hello everyone! Sorry I didn't post yesterday! Of course, I told you I had extracurricular activities, but after I was done, I was definitely ready to upload...until I got sick and fainted. Literally. I know this makes me sound like one of those over dramatic women in the movies, but what can I say? I'm not as strong as I thought. ;)
Don't worry now! I'm almost 100% fine, so let's do this!
Supplies:
#2 pencil (DIXON recommended)
eraser
color pencils
paper
Let us begin, shall we?
Step 1: Draw the outline. (The body should not be proportional to the head)
Step 2: Draw in the bangs. You can draw in your own or mimic mine. Your choice.
Step 3: Draw in the collar, which should look like two curved rectangles with two triangles in the middle. (Triangles should be under the two rectangles.) Then, draw three small circles below the collar for the buttons. Once you're done, outline the sleeve and hem of the dress. (If you have trouble making the hem, you can mimic the picture or curve the bottom like the waves of the ocean.)
Step 4: Now, however you chose the to curve the hem of the dress, so the same technique behind the legs.
Step 5: Okay, this step is a bit hard to explain, but I'll try my best. Use hashing stokes at the edge of each curve of your dress. Then, draw curved arcs a bit above the the feet for the shoes. (For those who think "Is the hair going to look like that? EWWWW!!!", please be patient. We're getting there soon.)
Step 6: Find where the waist of your chibi is and draw thin rectangles across it. Make sure they are spaced evenly away from each other. Then, at the edges of your rectangle draw vertical lines.
Step 7: Okay guys, now for the step you've been dying for...the hair. You see how the bangs have curvy upside down triangles? Well, the hair is the same thing, except you use longer triangles. Try it out! If you don't like the hairstyle I used, you can change it up a bit. :)
Step 8: Now, right below the bangs, draw two ovals and make arcs right on top of them.
Step 9: Now, in the big oval, draw a smaller oval inside of it. Then, add smaller circles at the top right edge and the bottom left edge of the smaller oval. Once, you're done, add the blush and mouth, which should be simple enough. Then, you can add whatever accessories you want to your adorable chibi. (Just don't try earrings. I don't know why, but they don't look good with chibis. :/ )
Step 10: Finally! Coloring and shading! Use whatever color you want to color in your cute chibi. If you want it to be more realistic, you can also shade! If you want to add more realism, add glare to the hair. (Oh yeah, I forgot to add in step nine to draw in the nose and eyebrows. Make sure you do that... or not. :P But seriously though. Add it.)

Okay, that's it for today! (Or is it??!) Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed today's tutorial. I tried not to make it too long, but I wanted to add a bit more description just in case. If you want, share this with your friends or anyone else who wants to draw chibis. Thank you for reading! Mwah!
